Three Ingredient Hot Chocolate Sauce

This is a great chocolate sauce recipe. It’s quick and easy to make, uses only a couple of ingredients and never lasts long in my house.

  • 80 ml condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 70 ml single cream


  • Place the condensed milk into a small pan and heat gently.
  • Mix the cocoa powder with 30ml cold water, stirring until it forms a lump free paste. Add another 30ml cold water and stir until incorporated.
  • Pour the cocoa mixture into the warming condensed milk and heat gently until it starts to simmer. Now add the cream, heat again until it just starts to simmer then remove from the heat.
  • Serve over ice cream.
